Product Development Update

Here at Logitech we are dedicated to continuous development and improvement for the benefit of our customers.
Whether it be continuous research and development to ensure we are up to date with the latest technologies and process knowledge or continuing to develop our existing products, we are always moving to improve.
Our Product Development Programme looks to bring new benefits to our customers through making tweaks to our already established product line and introducing brand new products to the range.
A recent brand new product launch that has been a great success is the PM6 Precision Lapping & Polishing System. We wanted to create a system with intelligent features and automated functionality to keep operator involvement at a minimum to allow users to reach stringent sample specifications repeatably. As you can see the PM6 is miles ahead of it’s predecessor, the PM5, both aesthetically and technologically.
Our next challenge is to upgrade another of our staple systems, the LP50 lapping and polishing system. The LP50 has been a Logitech customer favourite across multiple applications for many years. This product is in early stages of development and we hope to share important updates with you as they progress.
We are also working on a brand new system dedicated for large scale Geological Thin Section Preparation applications. This system is due to launch in time for 2018.
