Highlights of 2019 at Logitech
4th December 2019
As 2019 comes to a close, here at Logitech we are reflecting on the highlights of our past year…
Launch of the LP70 Multi-station Precision Lapping & Polishing System
The start of 2019 saw the successful launch of the newest addition to our wide range of lapping & polishing systems, the LP70. The LP70 was designed off the back of the success of our PM6 Precision Lapping & Polishing System. Our customers were seeing substantially higher throughput and greater control utilising an automated approach in their processes, allowing them to achieve super strict sample specifications that were previously unobtainable. The need for a system with the same capabilities but allowing for a larger sample capacity and multiple workstations to maximise throughput even further became clear.
The LP70 is a direct product upgrade from our staple system, the LP50. With an additional workstation, the LP70 comes with four workstations as standard giving it the highest sample throughput levels of all of our bench-top precision systems. The LP70 allows customers to obtain strict sample specifications across a wide range of materials.
