Job Title:  Time Served CNC Machinist
Location: Old Kilpatrick, Glasgow
Role type: Permanent position

The successful candidate will be:

• Time served
• Able to work to tight specified tolerances
• Capable of producing high quality work
• Have the ability to read and work from technical drawings is essential
• Ensure safety standards are met
• Responsible for maintaining equipment, supplies and records

Experience in the following is essential:

• Operating of 3+2 or 5 axis Milling machines (Siemens) is preferred
• Shopmill CNC programming
• Mori Sekki CMX70U experience or similar

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

• Conventional manual machining operations.
• Solidworks
• Camworks turning standard

The machines we use are DMG Mori: CMX 70U, NLX 2500/700 & CTX BETA 800 TC with Siemens controls plus Ikegal tu26 with Fanuc controls. Experience in any these tools would be beneficial.

Your standard working hours will be 37 hours per week, Mon-Thu 7.30am to 5:15pm. Hours outside of this are paid at time and a half.
